When your child is hurting, you feel it too. Maybe they seem overwhelmed by big emotions, anxious or withdrawn, or struggling after a change at home or school. Maybe they’ve been through something painful, or they simply don’t feel understood. Reaching out for help is an act of love, and I’m honored when a family trusts me with that step.

Play is the language of children. Kids often can’t explain what’s wrong, but they can show me through the toys they choose, the stories they build, and the worlds they create. In my playroom, children express feelings they don’t yet have words for and begin to make sense of them. It is a space where they can be exactly who they are, free from judgment and without pressure to say the “right” thing. Here, they can take their time to process hard feelings at their own pace, because safety always comes first.

In my experience with children and adolescents, I have supported families through anxiety, trauma, big life transitions, school and peer challenges, and more. I help children build coping skills, emotional awareness, confidence, and healthier relationships, and I have seen how powerfully children can grow when they feel truly understood.

My work is grounded in child-centered and trauma-informed care. I hold a certification in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and specialty training in Adlerian play therapy and Problematic Sexual Beahviors (PSBs).

Parents are at the heart of this work. You know your child better than anyone, and your involvement makes a lasting difference. I will keep you connected to the process, share what I’m seeing, and offer practical ways to support your child at home, so the progress made in our sessions carries into daily life. We are partners, and we are on your child’s team together.

Every child has strengths worth celebrating. My hope is to help your child feel more connected, capable, and confident, and to help you feel hopeful again.
